THE WORK

Join our Embedded Engineering Capability and help shape a Software-Defined Vehicle platform integrating Linux, Android, QNX, AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR into a unified developer ecosystem supporting ADAS and Infotainment.

• Lead and evolve the Yocto-based embedded Linux platform architecture, with a focus on scalability and long-term maintainability.
• Drive BSP integration, board bring-up and kernel strategy while embracing challenges as opportunities to advance the platform.
• Own kernel configuration management, Device Tree architecture and deployment, and bootloader design.
• Optimize system performance, boot time, footprint, reliability and platform security with a commitment to constant progress.
• Define approaches to Linux kernel security, system hardening and secure platform design.
• Diagnose kernel panics, driver issues and low-level system problems, applying root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as the technical interface to silicon vendors and partners and provide technical leadership across platform topics.
• Apply C/C++, shell scripting and low-level Linux expertise while constantly seeking innovation and advancement in embedded engineering.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office — depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, some in‑person time is required for collaboration, learning and relationship‑building. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your work‑life needs.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

• Take technical ownership of a Yocto-based Linux platform and develop your expertise across architecture, kernel, BSP, Device Tree and bootloader topics.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Embedded Linux, including extensive hands-on experience with Yocto.
• Strong expertise in the Linux kernel, U-Boot and Device Tree, including board bring-up, kernel configuration and Device Tree development/deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel security features, system hardening and security platform design.
• Experience debugging kernel panics, driver-related issues and low-level system problems.
• Hands-on knowledge of C/C++, shell scripting and system performance optimization.
• Experience in platform debugging and root-cause analysis, combined with technical leadership skills.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience owning platforms spanning multiple products or multiple SoCs, including security hardening and update strategies.
• Contributions to open-source, Yocto or AOSP projects.
• Experience with automotive, industrial or safety-critical systems.
