Amazon Web Services (AWS) Korea is seeking a Senior Partner Development Manager (PDM) to expand and strengthen our partner ecosystem in Korea and accelerate customer success alongside our partners. In this role, you will recruit, develop, and grow strategic consulting and technology partners in the Korean market—enabling them to build differentiated AWS-based solutions and drive revenue growth through co-sell motions.

As a Senior PDM at AWS Korea, you will develop a deep understanding of your partners' businesses and own their capability development (including emerging technology areas such as GenAI/AI), joint go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and the achievement of partner-originated pipeline and revenue targets. You will work closely with AWS internal teams—sales, solutions architecture, marketing, and partner programs—as well as with partner executives and practitioners, leveraging data-driven decision-making and long-term trust to lead partners through their transformation from reselling-centric to value-adding businesses.

Grounded in AWS Leadership Principles, you will practice Ownership and Customer Obsession, setting priorities and delivering results autonomously even in ambiguous environments. This position is based in Korea.

Key job responsibilities
Own partner business plans: Co-develop and execute annual business plans (joint revenue targets, capability development, GTM strategy) and drive quarterly progress against partner-originated revenue and pipeline goals.

Strengthen partner capabilities: Enable partners to earn AWS Competencies and certifications and build differentiated GenAI/AI solutions, accelerating their shift from reselling to value-adding MSPs.

Drive co-sell: Match co-sell opportunities between AWS Korea sales teams and partners through Partner Originated and Approved Origin deals.

Engage partner executives: Build trust-based C-level relationships and align on strategic direction through regular business reviews (QBRs/MBRs).

Collaborate cross-functionally: Work across AWS Korea sales, solutions architecture, marketing, and partner programs to deliver integrated partner support.

Manage performance with data: Track partner performance and surface insights for business reviews and executive reporting.

A day in the life
As a Senior Partner Development Manager at AWS Korea, your core focus is simple: build the plan for your partners' successful AWS business growth, and drive its execution.

A typical day moves between the two. You work with partners to shape their growth plan—joint goals, capabilities to build, opportunities to pursue—then spend much of your time executing it: aligning with AWS account teams on co-sell deals, tracking progress against the plan, and unblocking partners by navigating AWS programs and funding on their behalf. You operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
