Position Summary
The Senior Pricing Analyst will identify and deliver pricing opportunities across the product and service portfolio. This role develops data-driven pricing strategies, analytical tools, and actionable recommendations that improve price realization and commercial performance. The analyst will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Business Analytics, and other commercial teams to implement pricing initiatives and measure results.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, validate, and quantify pricing-improvement opportunities across the product and service portfolio.
- Maintain and prioritize a pipeline of near-, mid-, and long-term pricing initiatives; track progress from validation through implementation and measurement.
- Develop and implement data-driven pricing guidelines, tools, policies, and procedures for business units.
- Provide analysis and technical support for list pricing, customer-specific discounts, product-conversion opportunities, and other pricing initiatives.
- Recommend pricing and positioning for new product introductions to optimize customer value and commercial performance.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Business Analytics, and commercial teams to align pricing strategies and execute improvement programs.
- Develop SQL- and Excel-based analytical tools that guide strategic market pricing and measure financial impact.
- Advise, train, and mentor sales and commercial teams on pricing strategy, execution, and price-attainment practices.
- Perform ad hoc analyses of customer, product, and vendor dynamics and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and present executive-level reports summarizing findings, progress, financial impact, and opportunities to improve price attainment and sales performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, mathematics, a scientific discipline, or a related field.
- At least three years of related experience in pricing, commercial analytics, finance, business analytics, or a comparable field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, quantitative analysis, statistical problem-solving, and complex data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, build productive cross-functional relationships, and operate effectively in a matrix organization.
- Ability to work independently with broad guidance, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.

- Advanced degree in business, science, analytics, or a related field.
- Pricing experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution business.
- Experience working in a large, diversified, or complex corporate environment.
