Job Description

Join our dynamic team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Product Specialist. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in our product management department, supporting the growth of our business in Seoul, South Korea. As a Product Specialist, you will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure the flawless execution of calibration services and drive business development for our calibration center.


The main duties of this individual will be a role as a technical sales specialist of KOLAS within the sales team. This will include but not be limited to: 


What will you do? 

•  Operation of Pipette Calibration Center with strong understanding and interpretation of KOLAS regulation to manage the Calibration Center 

•  Collaborate with sales teams to execute calibrations that deliver awareness, engagement and pipeline.  

•  Excecute calibrations, qualifications, maintenance and documentation for liquid handling products in accordance with KOLAS standards 
•  Cooperating with marketing team to operate promotional task related with pipette calibration center. 
•  Analyze calibration data and feedback to improve business development in calibration center 

•  Calibration activities including trainings to channels and customers 

•  Positioning our products and establishing mid-long term strategies through pipette calibration center.  


How will you get there? 

I. Education 

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or other related technical fields 
 
II. Experience 

• Calibration experience is preferred, but not required. 

• Experience in management and operation of KOLAS quality system(Documentation) 
• A solid understanding of general science market, optimization techniques and tools 
 
III. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 
• Fluent English skill is preferred 

• Subject matter expert with regard to technical abilities and capabilities for KOLAS 

• General knowledge of calibrating instrument, calibration and maintenance of our products. 

• Expert in pipette calibration, preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repair. 

• Strong application and documentation knowledge of control loops that relate to systems.
