The Role
Join a team at the forefront of building Fidelity Institutional’s integrated wealth management platform within one of the fastest-growing segments of the market. We are seeking a results-focused and motivated associate to join the Managed Platforms team within the Fidelity Institutional Wealth Advisory Managed Solutions organization.
In this role, you will drive the adoption and evolution of Fidelity’s Managed Account Xchange platform (FMAX), a critical component of our wealth management and advisory offering. You will partner closely with other product managers, distribution, and technology teams—as well as external clients and strategic vendors—to help define and deliver scalable, integrated managed account solutions.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Gather and synthesize customer insights through user research, industry analysis, and engagement with distribution partners to inform product decisions
- Assess the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation
- Contribute to product roadmap development and prioritization aligned to business and client outcomes
- Drive key aspects of the product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, UX collaboration, API development, and end-to-end experience validation
- Conduct business testing across functionality, operational workflows, and user experience to ensure high-quality releases
- Support and help lead release readiness, rollout planning, and post-launch validation
- Create and maintain product documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources
- Communicate product updates and release information to sales, marketing, and support teams
- Partner across internal teams and external vendors to streamline processes, enhance client experience, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation, driving more efficient and effective ways of delivering value
- Bachelor’s degree required; 3–5+ years of financial services experience
- Experience in product development, consulting, or similar roles preferred
- Exposure to managed accounts or advisory platforms is a plus
- Strong passion for solving customer problems and delivering intuitive, digital-first solutions
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and translate complex customer needs into actionable solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills across diverse audiences
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with the ability to adapt and manage competing priorities
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and intellectual curiosity
The Team
Fidelity Institutional (FI) delivers clearing, custody, brokerage, and investment solutions to a diverse client base, including RIAs, broker-dealers, banks, and insurance firms.
This role operates at the intersection of sales, relationship management, product, and technology—serving as a key connector across Fidelity’s ecosystem. You will join a collaborative and forward-thinking team focused on expanding the reach and impact of Fidelity’s managed platform offerings.
Reporting to the VP, Product Leader for FMAX, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Fidelity’s advisory technology and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
