We are looking to hire a Senior Consulting Project Manager to join Microsoft Federal.
The Microsoft Federal organization was established to address the unique mission, legal/regulatory requirements, and procurement rules and processes of the United States Government (USG). As a Senior Consulting Project Manager, you will work in a PMO to manage vendors, execute supply chain procurement processes, and define IT asset management procedures.

Responsibilities
Account Delivery Management
- Lead facility operations, including lease and vendor management, space planning, compliance, facility assessments, site surveys, and recommendations for operational improvements.
- Own procurement and materials management activities across multiple contracts and programs, including acquisition planning, purchase order lifecycle management, stakeholder coordination, and process optimization.
- Establish and maintain IT asset management reporting and governance standards.
- Develop cost estimates and supporting documentation for new requirements, contract changes, and growth opportunities.
- Deliver executive-level reports, dashboards, and briefings on operational and financial performance.
- Implement automation, AI, and reporting solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, financial, security, and organizational requirements.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 3+ years experience in project management
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret /SCI Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required pre-offer and post-hire for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 8+ years experience in project management
- OR equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- 4+ years financial management experience.
- Agile certification, Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Professional Scrum Master One (PSM1) certification.
- Demonstrated experience managing and improving IT Asset Management processes and systems.
- Strong understanding of government contract structures, financial management, and the operational processes that support successful contract execution.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, AI-assisted workflows, or similar generative AI tools, including the ability to identify and implement productivity improvements.
Consulting Project Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,800 - $193,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $126,100 - $207,600 per year.
