As an External Audit - Associate you will support audit and assurance engagements by evaluating financial statements, internal controls, governance, and risk management processes for a range of clients within our Audit and Assurance practice. As an Associate you will contribute to client service in a learning-focused role by taking ownership of assigned tasks, adapting to changing priorities, asking questions, and building knowledge that supports dependable work and professional growth. In this role at PwC, you will gather information from multiple sources, interpret findings, document results, and apply professional and technical standards while developing your understanding of how the business works and how your work fits broader project goals.
Responsibilities
- Supporting external audit procedures by gathering financial records, reconciling account details, and organizing client-provided documentation
- Performing walkthroughs of processes and internal controls to help identify control points and document findings
- Testing balances, transactions, and supporting schedules using audit tools and established methodologies
- Preparing clear workpapers, summaries, and audit documentation for review by senior team members
- Communicating with client contacts to request information, clarify submissions, and track outstanding items
- Researching accounting guidance, audit standards, and industry requirements to support engagement tasks
- Analyzing data sets and identifying anomalies, trends, and follow-up items that require additional review
- Contributing to issue tracking, status updates, and team coordination throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection
- Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices
What You Must Have
- Graduated or pursuing Public Accountant or Business Administration with at least 70% of University Degree completed
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
