Apple’s Global Trade Compliance team is looking for a highly motivated Trade Compliance Analyst to actively support Apple’s Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and vendor management programs. Your integrity, high degree of ownership, can-do thinking, focused partnership, and dedication to excellence will bring value to our team.
Responsibilities
Conduct audits of FTZ estimates admissions and weekly customs entries.
Manage and monitor external partners including weekly meetings, compliance requests, shipment validations etc.
Monitor, measure and develop reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs.).
Evaluate new government requirements and partner with regional teams to ensure import compliance.
Ensure legal regulatory compliance with all aspects of FTZ operations.
Manage system related issues and root cause analysis.
Lead classification specific projects as assigned.
Manage and present metrics to management team.
Conduct desk verifications and on-site audits with external partners.
Create and maintain process and procedures.
Craft effective and clear communication with stakeholders (emails, Presentations, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of experience in import customs compliance roles at a professional services or Fortune 500 company.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of US Customs programs including Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Orders, and PGAs (e.g. FDA, EPA.).
