As a firmware engineer in the Bluetooth Controller Team, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing of firmware, and bringup of innovative, fresh wireless silicon for various Apple products - the iPhone, Mac and more! Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 2+ years of hands-on industry experience in embedded systems or related disciplines
Deep expertise in Bluetooth technologies, including protocol stack internals, wireless communication standards, and experience optimizing for power, performance, and reliability
Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for resource-constrained environments
Solid foundation in embedded hardware platforms

Pay & Benefits — San Diego, California, United States
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,300 and $263,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
