During your placement as Manufacturing Technology Intern you will get experience of working with one of our Manufacturing Technology Upstream, Downstream and Investigations teams and you will get exposure to various Manufacturing Technology activities such as:   

• Provide ongoing MT support to manufacturing commercial operations by way of attendance at meetings, involvement with investigations, familiarization with control strategy and all data gathering systems. 

• Process Monitoring and analysis as part of campaign execution 

• Generation of protocols for technology transfer work 

• Assistance with readiness/closure for Engineering and PPQ campaign, include protocol execution, report writing and regulatory filing activities  

• Complete MT assigned investigations to support commercial manufacturing and batch disposition. This will be achieved by becoming proficient in investigation/CAPA process and tools, facilitating inter-departmental Root Cause Analysis discussions, attendance at meetings, familiarization with control strategy and familiarization with systems utilized as BMS Cruiserath. 

Manufacturing Technology has a huge sphere of interaction with site departments including MS&T, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, automation, QA, QC. The diversity of responsibilities involved with the role will allow you to become very familiar with the organization as well as providing a solid grounding in how process control strategies translate to manufacturing operations.  

MT close relationship with MS&T Labs and translation the laboratory small scale works to large scale gives rise to solid opportunities to complete highly industry-relevant research projects. 

What Qualities Are We Looking For?  

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can collaborate in teams and have the willingness to learn.   

• Science , Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering or  Industrial Chemistry or similar discipline of study 

• Passionate about the biopharma sector and innovation in healthcare 

• Strong communication skills 

• Ability to work as a member of a team 

• Energetic, collaborative and dedicated.

Compensation Overview:

Pay for this internship/co‑op position is provided in accordance with local market practices and applicable laws. Pay may be offered as an hourly rate and/or monthly stipend, or other locally compliant structure. Pay is determined based on objective factors such as academic level, relevant experience, skills, and work location.

Interns and co‑op participants may be eligible for limited benefits depending on program structure, work location, and local requirements. Eligibility and offerings are governed by applicable policies and employment regulations.

This is a temporary, time‑bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co‑op program and does not guarantee continued or permanent employment following program completion.
