Senior Change Specialist - Senior Vice President

Are you a senior change specialist looking to shape how a global financial institution manages and transforms its data operations? In this role, you will lead strategic change initiatives across Master Reference Data Operations at Citi, sitting at the intersection of program delivery, design authority, and process improvement. You will work with senior stakeholders across business, operations, and technology to drive meaningful, lasting improvements to how Citi manages critical reference data.

Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic change initiatives across Master Reference Data Operations, ensuring programs meet defined objectives, milestones, and governance standards.
Chair and manage design authority for change initiatives, ensuring proposed solutions are evaluated, agreed, and signed off by the appropriate stakeholders before implementation.
Oversee the functional Book of Work, ensuring all change activity adheres to program governance frameworks and policy requirements.
Coordinate user acceptance testing for change programs, embedding new ways of working across the organisation and equipping teams to sustain change effectively.
Represent Master Reference Data Operations in organisation-wide program forums, ensuring the function's priorities and perspectives are clearly communicated and acted upon.
Partner with business sponsors to validate business cases, confirm that change plans align to strategic goals, and maintain accountability for delivery against agreed scope and budget.
Identify and assess risk associated with business decisions, escalating issues transparently and ensuring change activity is carried out in line with regulatory and policy requirements.
Drive the evaluation and implementation of strategic technology solutions by reviewing use cases and working in close partnership with operations and technology teams.
 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior change, transformation, or program delivery roles, with direct experience working in or alongside data-focused functions.

Demonstrated ability to manage program scope, governance, and execution across complex, multi-stakeholder environments from initiation through to completion.

Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and compliance functions to align on change objectives and priorities.

Strong knowledge of reference data concepts, processes, and systems, with the ability to apply that expertise to resolve issues and assess the impact of change.

A track record of evaluating operational performance, identifying inefficiencies, and reengineering processes to deliver measurable improvement across key metrics.

Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into accessible messaging for a range of audiences.

The ability to resolve issues with cross-functional impact, drawing on analytical thinking to define root causes and develop well-reasoned, innovative solutions.

$125,200.00 - $187,800.00
