Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist I, Formulation, where you'll make meaningful contributions to products that help make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll perform formulation and manufacturing activities in a GMP/ISO-regulated environment, working with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. You'll execute manufacturing protocols, troubleshoot processes, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate across functions to ensure high-quality output. This position offers opportunities to drive continuous improvement while working in a team-oriented setting focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Keys to Success:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required with no prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing, formulation development, or related laboratory work.
• Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering or related scientific field.
• Demonstrated expertise in aseptic techniques and GMP manufacturing practices.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, analytical methods, and instrumentation.
• Proficient in documentation practices and batch record completion.
• Experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance (GMP, ISO).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and laboratory software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to work flexible hours including possible shift work.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocols.
• Knowledge of data analysis and basic statistical methods.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing priorities.
