Overview

Today, Microsoft Clarity helps businesses understand what people do on their sites. The next chapter helps those same businesses understand how they show up when customers, copilots, and agents search, reason, cite, recommend, and act across the AI web.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead Clarity Commercialization, with a focus on AI Visibility, enterprise readiness, pricing and packaging, and the product capabilities needed to turn Clarity into a scaled business. This person will define how Clarity moves from broad product-led adoption into paid customer value, including the analytics, workflows, permissions, APIs, reporting, onboarding, and GTM motions needed by enterprises, agencies, sellers, and customer success teams.

This is a role for a product leader who understands analytics products, commercial product strategy, and the messy reality of building in a new market. The work sits at the intersection of web analytics, AI analytics, GEO/AI discoverability, pricing, enterprise SaaS, Microsoft Advertising, and customer-facing GTM. The right person will make Clarity more valuable for customers and more commercially meaningful for Microsoft.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

AI Experiences employees who live within a 50- mile commute of adesignated Microsoft Hub in the U.S. are expected to work from the officeat least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and mayvary by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the product strategy for Clarity Commercialization, including paid customer scenarios, pricing and packaging inputs, enterprise readiness, GTM needs, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Translate customer, agency, seller, and partner feedback into clear product requirements for enterprise customers, account hierarchies, agency models, permissions, privacy-safe sharing, onboarding, and support readiness.

  • Define the product capabilities needed for potential paid offerings, including premium analytics, premium compute-backed features, reporting, APIs, MCP or agent integrations, customer administration, and durable value measurement.

  • Partner with engineering, data science, design, marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and business planning to move from strategy to shipped product, launch plans, adoption targets, and commercial outcomes.

  • Build the connection between product usage and business value, including activation, retention, paid conversion, revenue attribution, Microsoft Advertising value, and customer ROI.

  • Use data, experimentation, customer conversations, competitive signals, and field feedback to prioritize the highest-value commercialization bets and stop work that does not create customer or business value.

  • Create clear executive and cross-functional alignment on Clarity’s commercial roadmap, including what is free, what is paid, what is enterprise-only, and what must be built before the product can scale through sellers and partners.

  • Help Clarity become the trusted analytics layer for the AI economy: where businesses understand human behavior, AI-mediated discovery, agent activity, and the actions that drive growth.

  • Model Microsoft culture through customer obsession, high accountability, direct communication, inclusive collaboration, and a willingness to work through ambiguity without hiding behind process.
