About the Role:
The Strategy & Integration Lead (Senior Manager) is a key member of the Global Communications & Governance (GC&G) Chief of Staff Office, responsible for advancing strategic plans, integration, and alignment across the function. This role serves as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Chief of Staff and senior leaders, helping shape, connect, and drive execution of communications strategies that support organizational priorities and business objectives. The position leads the development and integration of annual and long-range strategic plans across GC&G, ensuring alignment across practice areas, centers of excellence, leadership teams, and external partners. As a central strategy facilitator and integrator, this individual helps connect priorities, campaigns, programs, and resources across the organization while ensuring consistency in planning approaches, strategic thinking, and execution standards. The role brings external perspective through research, benchmarking, and marketplace insights to inform strategic decision-making, identify emerging opportunities, and strengthen communications effectiveness. Success in this position requires strong communications expertise, strategic thinking, facilitation skills, and the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders around shared goals.
How You Contribute:
- Lead the development, integration, and evolution of annual and long-range strategic plans across GC&G, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and business objectives.
- Serve as the primary facilitator and integrator for strategic planning across GC&G, aligning priorities across practice areas, centers of excellence, governance teams, and regional stakeholders while identifying synergies, resolving overlaps, and maximizing organizational impact.
- Monitor organizational health and effectiveness through KPI development and performance metrics to support strategic planning, business reviews, and informed decision-making.
- Bring external market, industry, communications, and stakeholder insights into strategic planning processes to strengthen decision-making and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
- Lead high-priority strategic initiatives and special projects on behalf of the Chief of Staff and senior leadership team.
- Design and facilitate strategic planning sessions, leadership forums, workshops, and decision-making forums that align stakeholders, surface insights, resolve complex challenges, and advance GC&G priorities.
- Establish and maintain communications strategy standards, frameworks, tools, guidance, and training that strengthen strategic planning capabilities and ensure consistent application of best practices across internal teams and agency partners.
- Monitor strategic priorities and organizational commitments, providing leadership with visibility into progress, interdependencies, risks, and opportunities for course correction.
- Foster alignment across GC&G and key partner functions by bringing structure and clarity to complex challenges, influencing outcomes through effective communication and data-driven recommendations, and promoting a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and strategic analysis to inform organizational decisions, communications priorities, and long-range planning.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in Communications, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Corporate Affairs, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of communications strategy, planning, audience engagement, campaign development, and communications best practices
- Demonstrated experience developing and integrating enterprise-level strategies across multiple teams, functions, or business areas.
- Proven ability to facilitate executive-level strategic discussions and drive alignment among diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations.
- Experience designing planning frameworks, strategic roadmaps, and governance processes that enable effective execution and accountability.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and navigating complex organizational environments without direct authority.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and presenting materials for executive audiences.
- Highly self-directed professional who can operate effectively in ambiguous environments, balance multiple priorities, and advance initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust with senior leaders, communicators, and strategic partners.
- Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and an ability to bring external perspectives and innovative thinking into organizational strategy development.
