Sr. TPM – Antenna Hardware Dev, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a Technical Program Manager for phased array systems, you will drive the end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional programs spanning hardware, firmware, software, and RF engineering. You will work closely with antenna systems architects, hardware design teams, and FW/SW engineers to coordinate the development, integration, and delivery of phased array antenna systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing program schedules, risks, and dependencies across antenna subsystem development and integration milestones
- Driving cross-functional coordination between FPGA, firmware, RF, networking, and mechanical engineering teams
- Defining and tracking technical requirements for phased array antenna systems from concept through production
- Leading design reviews, trade studies, and technical decision-making processes across disciplines
- Establishing and managing hardware test automation programs and bring-up processes for phased array systems
- Developing program metrics, reporting mechanisms, and escalation paths for antenna system deliverables

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience with phased array antenna systems, RF engineering, or satellite communication systems
- Familiarity with FPGA development workflows, firmware integration, or embedded systems programs
- Experience with hardware test automation frameworks and bring-up processes

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
