Summary:
As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves working extensively with data warehousing and analytics within the banking domain. The role includes developing and optimizing complex data queries, creating automated data pipelines, and integrating data from diverse sources. Collaboration with various teams to ensure data quality and efficient reporting is a key part of daily activities. The position requires managing data workflows and supporting business needs by transforming raw data into actionable insights, ensuring smooth data operations and timely delivery of reports.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to design and implement scalable data solutions that meet organizational requirements.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of data processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align data engineering efforts with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python Frameworks, Ab Initio.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Ab Initio.
- Strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Hands-on experience in building automated data pipelines using Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, and PySpark.
- Ability to integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, flat files, cloud storage, and third-party systems.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data quality management.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Python Frameworks.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
