Quality Control Analyst II - Fixed Term

We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst II to join our Quality team in Oceanside. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting biopharmaceutical product quality through routine testing, sample management, and laboratory maintenance. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment while upholding our commitment to data integrity and safety standards.

This is a fixed duration position for 2 years.

The Opportunity:

• Perform routine compendial method testing (pH, osmolality, color) and chemical assays following SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Conduct sample management, aliquoting, and reagent preparation to support routine testing operations.
• Oversee laboratory equipment through routine maintenance, calibration, and standardization.
• Execute basic troubleshooting of chemical assays and participate in special projects or protocol execution as needed.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, stock supplies, and ensure the facility remains in an inspection-ready state.
• Adhere strictly to GMP, GLP, GDP, Data Integrity, and environmental safety guidelines.

Who you are:

• You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• You possess 0–2 years of related laboratory experience in a regulated environment.
• You demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• You are an agile communicator with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
• You have working knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and software tools such as LIMS, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Safety Considerations

• Work in office and laboratory environment.
• Able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Work with analytical instruments that may involve exposure to hazardous chemicals (corrosive, toxic, flammable, etc).
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks including frequent hand and finger manipulations, grasping pushing and pulling.
• Available to work over-time, weekends, and holidays as needed

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of California, is $45,200.00 - $83,900.00 USD Annual.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
