Job Description

This role will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. 

LinkedIn is searching for Senior Associate, Forecasting & Business Intelligence. This position will sit within the Planning & Performance team, under Strategic Planning & Initiatives, in our Go-to-Market Operations function within LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. 

The Senior Associate will play a key role in building a trusted, forward-looking view of global business performance and outlook. This individual will own revenue forecasting, business performance insights, and operating rhythms, connecting the dots across segments and data sources to surface risks and opportunities and inform leadership decisions. 

In this role, you will help shape and scale the global forecasting process, develop data-driven perspectives on business performance, and partner closely with GTM Operations, Strategic Finance, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to pressure-test assumptions, improve forecast quality, and surface insights that help the business proactively manage risks and capitalize on opportunities. You will also help evolve our forecasting tools and capabilities, identifying opportunities to simplify and automate workflows and enable more effective business management. 

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, solution-oriented, comfortable challenging the status quo, and able to navigate ambiguity while managing multiple cross-functional relationships and initiatives. 

Responsibilities:   

  • Own and execute the global revenue forecasting process for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, partnering with Segment GTM Operations, Strategic Finance, Sales, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a rigorous, forward-looking view of business performance and outlook  
  • Analyze business and forecast performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Triangulating performance signals to diagnose underlying drivers, pressure test assumptions, and develop actionable insights and recommendations for GTM Operations and Sales leadership.  
  • Own forecast diagnostics and drive continuous improvement of forecasting methodologies and processes, including forecast accuracy, quality, consistency, and best practices across the global organization  
  • Lead the business process design, requirements, rollout, and adoption of forecasting tools and capabilities, including partnering with Analytics, Sales Technology, and other cross-functional teams to improve forecasting effectiveness and scalability  
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen business intelligence and performance management, including developing insights and analyses that inform broader business initiatives, integrating leading indicators into forecasting, and identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate workflows through AI and other technology solutions 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:    

  • 4+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, management consulting, finance, or an analytical/operational role 
  • 2+ years of experience working with Excel and SQL
  • Business Fluency in English    
  • BA/BS degree in business, operations, analytics, or related field    

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Proven track record of independently leading strategic and operational initiatives from problem definition through implementation in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment     
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, with experience translating complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with data-driven storytelling, developing executive-level narratives, and influencing senior stakeholders  
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment across stakeholders  
  • Experience with revenue forecasting and business performance management, ideally within the Ads Tech or SaaS industry  
  • Experience building and implementing AI-enabled tools, automations, or workflows to solve business problems and improve efficiency, insights, and decision-making across GTM Operations and Sales
