Job Description
This role will be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, and New York.
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This means you can work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together, or you can work remotely from most locations within the country listed for this role.
LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) is a multi-billion-dollar business for LinkedIn and is our fastest-growing business, with tremendous growth opportunities ahead. When organizations come to LMS, we help them reach and engage professional audiences at scale. We then help turn those audiences into communities and, ultimately, those communities into customers.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will help shape the future of LinkedIn’s advertising products. You will represent the needs of global advertisers and translate insights about data signals and activation into strategic product and go-to-market recommendations. Working across product, engineering, legal, sales, and marketing, you will help strengthen the signals that power audiences, campaign optimization, and measurement.
You will develop clear, compelling narratives and best practices that help advertisers improve signal quality and turn data capabilities and technical compliance into a performance driver. You will develop messaging for LinkedIn Marketing Partners to encourage adoption of new data capabilities to improve advertiser value. You will also identify opportunities to connect data capabilities across LinkedIn and contribute to a more cohesive B2B go-to-market strategy.
The ideal candidate combines strategic product thinking, technical aptitude, and strong storytelling skills. You understand how advertisers, developers, and marketing technology practitioners use data and can turn complex customer, technical, and market requirements into differentiated positioning, actionable product recommendations, and scalable go-to-market programs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the voice of global advertisers by identifying data, privacy, and integration requirements and monitoring competitive, marketing technology, and data ecosystem trends to inform product strategy and go-to-market priorities.
- Develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive advertiser and LinkedIn Marketing Partner adoption of data capabilities (e.g., new identifiers, parameters), integrations, and solutions that improve signal quality and match rates to support improved campaign performance.
- Lead communications and change management related to regulatory shifts and LinkedIn terms that affect how LinkedIn and advertisers share, use, or activate data for marketing campaigns.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, legal, privacy, business development, sales, and marketing to align product strategy, ensure launch readiness, and lead go-to-market execution.
- Identify and advance opportunities to connect data capabilities across LinkedIn, enabling a more integrated B2B data and go-to-market engine that delivers greater customer value.
- Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities while balancing strategic thinking, stakeholder alignment, and execution excellence across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in relevant B2B product, marketing, or business strategy roles
- 2+ years in product marketing in advertising, marketing technology, or related industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve product marketing effectiveness, productivity, and decision-making.
- Experience in product marketing for advertising data, signals, measurement, audiences, identity, or marketing technology, with an understanding of how first-party and third-party data can improve campaign performance and deliver stronger advertiser value.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer and market insights into product strategy, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for complex or emerging products.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to simplify data products, APIs, integrations, and privacy or regulatory requirements into clear value for business and technical audiences.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with senior internal and external audiences.
Suggested Skills:
- Product Strategy
