 We are looking for a Depositary Oversight Specialist, Officer role. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing fund activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, fund documentation, and contractual obligations. The role supports the depositary in fulfilling its fiduciary and oversight duties to protect investors' interests.

What you will be responsible for

 As a Depositary Oversight Specialist, Officer role, you will: 

• Perform analysis of cash flow monitoring; 

• Perform depositary oversight duties in accordance with UCITS and AIFMD regulations; 

• Perform Due Diligence on 3rd parties like Fund Administration or Transfer Agent; 

• Perform oversight on investment compliance monitoring; 

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of operational and regulatory requirements;

• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, automation initiatives, and operating model enhancements;

• Maintain relevant systems and databases and prepare internal and client reporting;

• Attend client meetings and support ongoing relationship management activities. 

What we value

• Strong knowledge of depositary oversight responsibilities and applicable regulatory framework, including UCITS and AIFMD; 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;  
• Ability to apply a risk-based approach and appropriately identify and escalate risk matters;
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines;
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership;

·          Experience in Fund Accounting / Custody / Investment Compliance

Audit would be considered an advantage. 

Educatiion & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
• Experience within a bank, asset management company, law firm, audit firm, or similar financial services organization.
• Knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD Directives and related regulatory framework.
• Understanding of fund structures, governance, financial reporting, and investment lifecycle processes.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages would be considered an advantage. 

Additional requirements

• Ability to support client meetings, due diligence exercises, and business development activities. 

• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and process enhancement
