Influencer/Community Outreach Manager

About the role

Tappytoon is ​looking ​for ​an Influencer ​& Community Outreach Manager ​to ​join the ​Brand Growth Team ​and own ​the ​strategy and ​execution ​of ​our creator/influencer and ​affiliate ​program from the ​ground ​up. ​This role is ​responsible for ​building ​and scaling ​Tappytoon’s presence ​across ​social media channels ​through a ​structured network of fan creators and content seeders who bring our catalog of web series into the real world.

You’ll be managing the full creator lifecycle, from sourcing to content coordination and funneling into Tappytoon channels. Successful candidates will work cross-functionally with the Social Media Manager to grow brand awareness through user and creator-generated content.

What you'll do

• Creator Program Ownership: Build and manage Tappytoon’s Creator Program end-to-end, including tier structure, reward model, creator guidelines, and contract management.
• Sourcing & Outreach: Identify, vet, and recruit creators across social media channels using discovery tools and manual sourcing. Own outreach templates and response workflows.
• Creator Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all program creators. Support creator onboarding, communicate content guidelines, maintain engagement, and manage tier progressions.
• Campaign Execution: Plan and execute creator campaigns tied to title launches, seasonal events, and series milestones. Brief creators, coordinate content timelines, and ensure compliance and brand alignment.
• Cross-functional Community Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media Manager and PR Manager to maximize creator campaign impact and to create fan-generated content moments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, affiliate marketing, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience managing a creator or affiliate program, from outreach through performance analysis
• Experience with affiliate or creator management tools (e.g., Post Affiliate Pro, Refersion, PartnerStack, Impact, Aspire, Modash, or equivalent)
• Proficiency with data and analytics tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics, or similar) to measure campaign performance and translate results into insights
• Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple creators, timelines, and campaigns simultaneously
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal, for creator outreach, contract coordination, and internal reporting
• Understanding of influencer disclosure requirements and platform-specific content guidelines

Preferred qualifications

• Intermediate or higher Korean proficiency
• Genuine interest in or familiarity with webtoons, manga, manhwa, light novels, or related fandom culture
• Experience working in a content, entertainment, gaming, or digital media environment
• Experience with affiliate-driven paid amplification
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating with some ambiguity
• Experience building or scaling a creator or affiliate program from early stages
• Familiarity with Western market social media trends and fandom communities (BookTok, WebtoonTok, MangaTok, etc.)
