POSITION SUMMARY
You will lead a team of analytical scientists supporting the development of Pfizer's small molecule drug products from early development through commercialization. You will drive analytical strategy, portfolio delivery, scientific excellence, innovation, and talent development while collaborating across multidisciplinary CMC teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and coaching to Analytical Scientists, fostering technical growth and high performance.
- Define and execute analytical development strategies supporting clinical and commercial milestones.
- Lead analytical project planning, resource management, budgeting, risk assessment, and delivery of CMC analytical activities.
- Partner with Drug Product Design, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Champion innovative approaches, digital solutions, modeling, and efficient ways of working to accelerate development and improve productivity.
- Ensure robust, phase-appropriate analytical methods and regulatory-compliant deliverables.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 5+ years of pharmaceutical development experience including filing experience for novel small molecule drug products.
- 3 years of experience leading a team of scientists directly and cross-functionally
- Strong communication skills-- written, oral and presentation.

Travel is anticipated to be approximately 10% of time to visit sites and external vendors.
Relocation support available
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
