Overview

The Deal-Making Strategy Team within Deal Desk Excellence is a deeply connected team partnering across Microsoft to develop deal making strategies, build and deliver guidance and readiness solutions, and support the global Deal Desk community. As the Senior Business Program Manager, Security Strategy, you will play a critical role in enabling business strategies while also partnering across the Deal Desk and other organizations driving initiatives to deliver global impact.

Responsibilities

 

· Subject Matter Expert: You will be the single point of contact driving strategic partnerships across stakeholders for the Deal Desk. As a subject matter expert in Microsoft's security products, your focus will be on influencing product pricing and empowerment strategies, building and delivering deal making guidance, and managing a comprehensive feedback loop to identify business blockers and design repeatable solutions.

· Deal Agility: Engage with team members that need assistance in closing challenging deals providing in depth expertise on offerings, pricing strategy, competitors, empowerment and operational considerations while taking qualitative and quantitative insights to inform and influence strategy.

· Readiness Delivery: Ongoing proactive readiness to the global team, including guidance on new services and strategies to ensure they are properly armed to effectively win deals quickly.

· Platform: As Microsoft continues to innovate how we contract and deliver advanced solutions to customers, you will partner across the company to build our strategy and enable the Deal Desk to play a critical role in this transformation.

· Build, Grow and Nurture Key Relationships: As you partner across the organization, you will need to develop trusted relationships that balance understanding and empathy while advocating for the Deal Desk.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement · 

• OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement

• OR equivalent experience

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
