Job Description
As Director, FP&A - Global Commercial Finance & Analytics, you will play a leadership role in global commercial planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, controls, analytics, and finance transformation. You will serve as a trusted partner to regional and cross-functional stakeholders, translate complex financial information into executive-ready insights, and strengthen the quality, scalability, and governance of Commercial Finance processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Global Revenue Forecasting, Consolidation & Reporting
Lead global commercial revenue forecasting, actuals reporting, variance analysis, and consolidated roll-ups across products and regions.
Coordinate regional inputs and ensure consistent assumptions, standards, timelines, and quality across the worldwide forecast.
Deliver recurring and ad hoc revenue analysis, including clear drivers, risks, opportunities, and executive-ready commentary.
Oversee revenue-related close and planning deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely escalation of issues.
2. Regional Finance Partnership & Market Insights
Serve as the primary FP&A liaison for the United States and ACE regions, strengthening alignment between regional finance teams and Global Commercial Finance.
Partner with regional teams to understand forecast movements, business drivers, price-volume dynamics, and emerging risks and opportunities.
Translate regional submissions into a coherent global view and provide actionable insights for leadership decisions.
3. Financial Controls, Data Integrity & Governance
Act as a reviewer for revenue and operating expense information produced as evidence, supporting robust documentation, traceability, and control execution.
Identify data-quality issues, investigate variances, coordinate remediation with Controllership and finance partners, and support audit-ready documentation.
Promote disciplined financial governance, consistent definitions, and reliable reporting across systems, regions, and workstreams.
4. Cross-Functional Finance & Medical Affairs Support
Provide finance support for Medical Affairs and other cross-functional priorities, connecting business needs with commercial financial planning and analysis.
Serve as a liaison to PDM and G&A finance teams on cross-functional topics, including cost of goods sold and related P&L considerations.
Coordinate inputs across Commercial, PDM, G&A, Controllership, and regional finance teams to provide an integrated financial perspective.
5. Digital Finance, AI & Analytics Leadership
Lead Commercial Finance AI support and adoption efforts, identifying practical use cases that improve forecast quality, reporting efficiency, and decision support.
Champion digital finance innovation, automation, self-service analytics, and standardized reporting while aligning with enterprise governance expectations.
Develop and enhance dashboards, analytical tools, and executive reporting that simplify complex information and improve transparency.
6. Strategic Planning & Executive Support
Support long-range planning, scenario analysis, profitability assessment, and strategic financial modeling for the global commercial organization.
Prepare clear financial narratives and materials for senior leadership, earnings, Board, and other executive review forums.
Provide thoughtful challenge and recommendations on investment choices, resource allocation, financial risks, and business trade-offs.
7. Leadership & Collaboration
Operate as a trusted finance leader across Commercial, regional, corporate, and cross-functional teams.
Influence without authority, establish clear accountability, and drive alignment across geographically dispersed stakeholders.
Coach and develop team members, strengthen technical and business capabilities, and foster an inclusive, high-performing environment.
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA with 12+ years of relevant experience
OR
MS/MA or MBA with 10+ years of relevant experience
OR
PhD with 8+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive FP&A experience in revenue forecasting, financial consolidation, close, planning, and management reporting within a complex global organization.
Demonstrated ability to partner with regional and cross-functional finance teams and translate multiple inputs into an integrated enterprise view.
Strong knowledge of financial controls, data governance, information-produced-by-the-entity review, and audit-ready documentation.
Advanced analytical capability, including scenario modeling, price-volume analysis, profitability assessment, and risk and opportunity evaluation.
Experience leading digital finance, AI, automation, dashboarding, and self-service analytics initiatives.
Executive-level communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to convert complex analysis into clear recommendations.
Proven change leadership, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills across virtual and geographically dispersed teams.
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
