AI Consultant for the Chemicals and Natural Resources Industry

We are looking for professionals who combine AI expertise with knowledge of the Chemicals and Natural Resources industries and can connect business needs with technology. Depending on your background, you may bring experience in AI consulting, solution architecture, Generative AI, machine learning, data science or AI-enabled business transformation.

THE WORK

No two days at Accenture are alike, but your typical day may include:

• Work with Chemicals and Natural Resources clients to identify and shape high-value AI and Generative AI opportunities across their value chains.

• Translate business challenges into practical AI-enabled solutions, connecting business requirements, data, applications and technology.

• Contribute to the design and architecture of AI solutions, including integration with enterprise systems, data platforms and cloud environments.

• Work across areas such as Generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, AI solution architecture and AI-enabled applications, depending on your experience.

• Support AI initiatives from use-case definition and prototyping through solution design, implementation, scaling and adoption.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and globally distributed teams combining industry, business, data and technology expertise.

• Apply Chemicals and Natural Resources industry knowledge to business and operational areas such as operations, supply chain, maintenance, procurement, sustainability and corporate functions.

• Contribute to client workshops, proposals, solution demonstrations and development of new AI capabilities and offerings.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Experience working with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning or AI-enabled solutions.

• Background and/or experience in Chemicals and/or Natural Resources industries, such as Mining, Metals, Forest Products, Building Materials or related process industries.

• Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into AI, data and technology requirements and solutions.

• Understanding of the key components of modern AI solutions, including data, models, applications, integration and cloud environments.

• Experience working with business and technology stakeholders in multidisciplinary and/or multinational teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

• Experience designing AI or Generative AI solution architectures.

• Experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering or enterprise AI platforms.

• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP and their AI services.

• Knowledge of Python, machine learning frameworks, APIs, data platforms or modern application architectures.

• Experience taking AI solutions from prototype or proof of concept into production and scaled enterprise deployment.

• Knowledge of enterprise platforms and industrial technology landscapes, including SAP, ERP, IoT, operational systems or industrial data platforms.

• Experience with Responsible AI, AI governance, security or model lifecycle management.

• Advanced or fluent proficiency in German, French, Spanish.
