What would you do? • The Manager General Accounting & Month-end Closing is accountable for end-to-end Record-to-Report service delivery, financial stewardship, operational governance, and transformation across multiple legal entities, countries, or business units. . The role leads managers, team leads, and accounting professionals; owns close performance and balance-sheet integrity; provides oversight of complex accounting judgements. • As a senior operational partner to finance leadership, the Manager governs service performance, capacity, talent, controls, escalations, transitions, and continuous improvement while delivering measurable improvements in quality, productivity, cost, and close-cycle time. • Strong experience with SAP ECC or SAP S,4HANA Finance and enterprise close, reconciliation, workflow, and service-management platforms is required. The role also requires proven capability in leading multi-entity operations, senior stakeholder governance, financial controls, workforce planning, and technology-enabled transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities: • • Own end-to-end General Accounting and Month-end Closing delivery across multiple entities, countries, or business units, with accountability for service quality, timeliness, compliance, productivity, cost, and stakeholder outcomes. • • Translate business and finance priorities into annual operating plans, close calendars, capacity models, risk-based work allocation, succession coverage, and measurable team objectives. • • Provide managerial oversight and final review for material, complex, unusual, or judgement-based accounting matters, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, reclassifications, intercompany, foreign exchange, and correcting entries. • • Govern month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close from readiness assessment through sign-off, including cut-off, recurring postings, revaluations, regrouping, trial-balance review, variance analysis, period control, consolidation support, and executive status reporting. • • Own balance-sheet integrity by establishing reconciliation and substantiation standards, reviewing high-risk accounts and ageing, challenging weak evidence, and ensuring material exposures and reconciling items have funded and time-bound remediation plans. • • Lead service governance with controllers, business finance, shared-services leadership, auditors, and client executives; present performance, risks, decisions, dependencies, and recovery actions, and resolve cross-functional escalations. • • Define and monitor the operational scorecard covering SLA, KPI, TAT, quality, productivity, cost, backlog, ageing, control effectiveness, close timeliness, and stakeholder satisfaction; hold teams accountable for sustained performance. • • Maintain a robust control environment through policy compliance, segregation of duties, approval governance, risk-and-control matrices, SOX execution, evidence standards, audit readiness, and timely remediation of control deficiencies.
