What would you do? • The General Accounting & Month-end Closing Team Lead is accountable for end-to-end service delivery, operational governance, and continuous improvement across general ledger accounting and period-end close activities for multiple legal entities. The role leads a team, reviews complex and high-risk transactions, safeguards balance-sheet integrity, and ensures accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end. • The Team Lead serves as the primary operational contact for clients and stakeholders, manages service performance and escalations, develops team capability, and drives standardization, automation, and measurable business outcomes in a global, high-volume, SLA-driven environment. • Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC or SAP S,4HANA Finance is required; exposure to ServiceNow and reconciliation or close-management tools such as ReconSmart, Cadency, or BlackLine is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities: • • Lead daily General Accounting operations covering journal processing, open-item management, GR,IR, trial-balance review, balance-sheet reconciliations, close activities, consolidation support, and stakeholder reporting across multiple legal entities. • • Plan daily, weekly, and period-end production; allocate work based on transaction volumes, priorities, team capacity, skills, risk, and the close calendar, while maintaining appropriate backup and business-continuity coverage. • • Review and approve complex, high-value, or high-risk journals, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, reclassifications, foreign-exchange adjustments, and correcting entries, ensuring complete support and authorization. • • Oversee daily and weekly open-item and GR,IR clearing; review ageing and exception reports, challenge unmatched, duplicate, aged, or incorrectly posted items, and drive sustainable resolution. • • Review trial-balance and general-ledger analysis, investigate unusual, incomplete, or unbalanced transactions, assess financial impact, and approve corrective action within agreed timelines. • • Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close delivery, including cut-off governance, recurring postings, FX revaluation, AR,AP regrouping, period control, close-checklist sign-off, and timely close-status reporting. • • Lead balance-sheet substantiation by reviewing reconciliations, ageing, supporting evidence, risk classification, and reviewer sign-off; ensure material reconciling items are escalated and closed. • • Support consolidation, group reporting, and financial-reporting activities by ensuring accurate balances, complete submissions, clear variance explanations, and audit-ready evidence. • • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, controllers, local finance teams, auditors, and other stakeholders; lead operational calls, manage expectations, resolve queries, and escalate risks or policy exceptions promptly.Any Graduation
