What would you do? • We are seeking General Accounting and Month-end Closing professionals for Analyst and Senior Analyst roles. The position executes end-to-end Record-to-Report activities, including journal processing, account clearing, reconciliations, trial balance review, close activities, reporting, and resolution of client queries. • The Analyst performs defined activities with appropriate guidance, while the Senior Analyst independently manages complex transactions, reviews outputs, resolves exceptions, supports stakeholders, and contributes to process improvement. Roles and Responsibilities: • • Prepare, validate, and post standard, recurring, and adjustment journal entries, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, reclassifications, and corrections, with complete supporting documentation and approvals. • • Perform daily and weekly open-item management and clearing of transaction accounts; investigate unmatched, duplicate, aged, or incorrectly posted items. • • Reconcile and clear GR,IR accounts, analyze ageing, coordinate supporting information, and process approved corrections or forced clearings in accordance with policy. • • Analyze the trial balance and general ledger to identify unusual, incomplete, or unbalanced transactions; investigate root causes and prepare corrective entries. • • Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including foreign-exchange revaluation, AR,AP regrouping, recurring postings, close checklists, and period-control activities. • • Support financial consolidation and group reporting by providing accurate balances, variance explanations, and audit-ready supporting evidence. • • Prepare and publish monthly balance-sheet reconciliations, investigate reconciling items, and obtain timely review and sign-off. • • Prepare ageing and exception reports with clear commentary, risks, ownership, and recommended actions; follow up with clients and process teams to close open items. • • Respond to client queries, service requests, and tickets within agreed SLA and TAT commitments, escalating risks or dependencies promptly. • • Maintain process documentation, journal logs, reconciliation evidence, and audit trails in accordance with SOPs, accounting policies, retention requirements, and internal controls. • • Independently manage complex and high-risk activities, review Analyst outputs, provide technical guidance, resolve escalations, and coordinate close deliverables with stakeholders.
