What would you do? • The Fixed Assets Accounting Team Lead is responsible for end-to-end delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of fixed asset accounting and reconciliation activities in a high-volume, SLA-driven finance operations environment. • The role leads a team, reviews complex and high-risk transactions, safeguards balance-sheet integrity and ensures timely and accurate month-end and year-end close in accordance with client policies, IFRS,US GAAP, SOX, and internal control requirements. • The Team Lead serves as the primary operational contact for clients and stakeholders, manages service performance and escalations, develops team capability, and drives standardization, automation, and measurable business outcomes. • Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI-AA,SAP S,4HANA is required; exposure to ServiceNow, ReconSmart, Cadency, or BlackLine is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities: • Lead daily fixed asset operations and provide end-to-end oversight of asset master data, acquisitions and additions, capitalization, transfers, depreciation, revaluation, impairment, disposals, retirements, project closure, Construction in Progress (CIP), Asset under Construction (AUC), and roll-forward reporting. • Plan daily, weekly, and period-end production; allocate work based on volumes, priorities, team capacity, skills, risk, and the close calendar, while ensuring appropriate backup and business continuity coverage. • Review and approve critical or high-value asset transactions, including capitalization requests, useful lives, asset classes, depreciation keys, additions, transfers, write-ups, revaluations, impairments, retirements, disposals, and gain or loss calculations. • Govern asset master data management by reviewing creations and changes for completeness, classification, ownership, location, cost center, useful life, capitalization date, and compliance with approval and data-quality standards. • Oversee capital project accounting, including CIP,AUC creation, project cost monitoring, WBS element settlement, project closure, transfer to completed assets, aging analysis, and timely capitalization of ready-for-use assets. • Review Constructive Period Interest (CPI) calculations, interest-rate inputs, capitalized interest, and related month-end postings; investigate exceptions and ensure appropriate supporting documentation. • Lead preliminary and final depreciation runs, validate planned versus posted depreciation, review useful-life and value exceptions, resolve errors, and ensure accurate general ledger postings. • Own fixed asset month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including close checklist governance, subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliation, clearing of open items, roll-forward schedules, variance analysis, and timely status reporting.
