Required
- Bachelor's degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in automotive engineering related to electric vehicles, eDrive systems or charging systems.
- Practical experience in EV/HV systems, vehicle charging systems and relevant industry standards.
- Deep understanding of BEV/PHEV test methodologies and issue management processes.
- Experience in test and validation of automotive components/modules, including test strategies/concepts, test case creation, testing, documentation, and issue management.
- Experience using automotive tools for debugging, logging, and configuring ECUs.
- Good understanding of vehicle networking architectures such as CAN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
- Very good organization and cooperation in dynamic, interdisciplinary, and international project teams.
Preferred
- High motivation and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Korean, both written and verbal.

About the role
eDrive Charging Interoperability Testing & Validation
• Develop and continuously improve testing strategies and concepts for charging interoperability testing and validation.
• Define and refine market-specific test cases and test procedures.
• Execute and continuously improve validation methods for the Korea charging environment.
What you'll do
• Develop and continuously improve testing strategies and concepts for charging interoperability testing and validation.
• Define and refine market-specific test cases and test procedures.
• Execute and continuously improve validation methods for the Korea charging environment.
• Test and validate charging performance and interoperability for all Mercedes-Benz carlines, including BEVS and PHEVs.
• Perform charging interoperability testing with prototype test vehicles in laboratory and field settings.
• Investigate identified issues in depth with relevant development teams, including Germany, and with local charging system providers.
• Follow up on corrective measures and verify their effectiveness.
• Support test vehicle logistics and preparation, including SW update coordination and test configuration.
• Document, consolidate, and pre-analyze test and validation results.
• Support maturity assessment and provide technical input for release recommendations based on test results.
• Ensure transparent tracking of open issues, measures, and verification status.
• Collaborate with relevant functions within RD Korea and support eDrive/carging interoperability activities.
• Work independently, prioritize activities, and meet agreed deadlines.
• Foster effective cooperation with global development teams, local charging providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing methods, processes, and knowledge sharing.
