Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results, or experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
- 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
Preferred
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of of financial reporting tools (Cognos, Redshift)
- Experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment
- 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
About the role

This role works across the fast-growing Amazon Connect business team and will own the financial integration of mergers & acquisitions within our business portfolio, design the financial reporting strategy for our Connect AI products, and drive better understanding of growth opportunities and customer adoption trends. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively and manage time sensitive deliverables, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business/finance partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to formalize reporting structure and cadence for our AI acceleration acquisition(s)
- Own the financial analysis processes, leverage AI agents for deep dives on AWS revenue, pricing, capex and operating expenses.
- Drive process improvements, manage ad-hoc requests from senior finance leadership.
- Create efficiency improvement opportunities including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.
- Collaborate with finance teams across AWS to standardize and streamline improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
