Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to ensure operational readiness and manufacturing ramp of new hardware platforms, including cloud, AI, GPU, and storage technologies.
  • Develop and implement scalable frameworks for efficient transitions from product development to mass production.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and product teams to align production capabilities with market demands.
  • Evaluate program readiness using data-driven performance metrics and operational reviews.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks affecting product launches and production scalability.
  • Drive strategic decisions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and capacity.
  • Act as a technical liaison between engineering and operations teams to successfully deploy products.
  • Lead resolution of production and quality challenges through coordinated root cause analysis.
  • Inspire and drive alignment with leaders and stakeholders to achieve overarching business objectives.
  • Uncover process improvement opportunities to simplify execution and accelerate production readiness.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, program management, hardware development, or consumer electronics OR equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related area.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Program Management
    • Engineering
    • Manufacturing Operations
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Hardware Development
    • Technology Product Development
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, AI systems, GPU platforms, storage technologies, or other complex hardware products.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in high-tech environments.
  • Experience in navigating hardware development lifecycles, production processes, and supply chain operations.
  • Decision-making abilities supported by data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with global teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partnerships.


NPI Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
