Overview

Lead Microsoft’s most strategic AI transformation programs for customers from strategy through adoption and measurable value. You will shape and deliver multi-workstream engagements, advise senior customer leaders, protect commercial and delivery health, and mobilize global teams to turn ambitious AI commitments into sustained business outcomes.

Microsoft Frontier Company helps organizations move from AI experimentation to measurable outcomes at scale. We combine industry expertise, consulting and forward deployed engineering, Microsoft cloud, AI and productivity technologies, and our partner ecosystem to discover value, redesign processes, and co-build mission-critical AI solutions. We connect these solutions with the data, security, governance, operating model, and change-management foundations needed for adoption and sustained transformation.

We are seeking an experienced Consulting Program Director to lead our most complex, multi-workstream AI transformation programs. This role owns end-to-end delivery and commercial health from deal shaping through close-out, partnering with Services Sales to accelerate growth through trusted execution and customer value. As an executive advisor, you will align business, technical, and delivery teams to turn ambitious commitments into measurable results.

Responsibilities

Frontier Transformation Leadership

  • Own end-to-end accountability for complex AI transformation programs, from vision and prioritization through implementation, adoption, and scale.
  • Align technology investments to measurable customer business outcomes.
  • Advise customer executives and transformation leaders on priorities, investment choices, delivery tradeoffs, and the organizational changes required to achieve business outcomes.
  • Drive adoption, organizational readiness, value measurement, and realization of agreed business outcomes throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Convert the customer’s transformation vision into a sequenced roadmap that prioritizes the highest-value opportunities, establishes implementation and adoption milestones, and defines how successful solutions will scale.

End-to-End Program Delivery

  • Turn complex business objectives into an integrated program with clear workstreams, accountable owners, milestones, and success measures.
  • Lead program planning, mobilization, execution, and delivery quality across multidisciplinary teams, with governance, executive reviews, and decision frameworks that maintain clarity, accountability, and momentum.
  • Anticipate risks and dependencies, escalate early, and lead recovery when scope, quality, milestones, or outcomes are at risk.
  • Navigate ambiguity and changing priorities without losing control of scope, quality, or outcomes.

AI-First Leadership

  • Champion AI-first ways of working that accelerate customer value while maintaining appropriate security, governance, quality, and human oversight.
  • Help customers identify, prioritize, and accelerate high-value AI use cases.
  • Leverage AI capabilities to improve delivery predictability, productivity, governance, and business outcomes.
  • Lead programs involving Copilot, Azure AI, Data & Analytics, Fabric, Security, and emerging Microsoft technologies.

Executive Trust and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with customer executives, Microsoft leaders, and partners.
  • Lead steering committees with a transparent view of program health, financial performance, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Represent the customer within Microsoft and Microsoft with the customer.
  • Mobilize architects, engineers, consultants, customer success, industry advisors, account teams, and partners across global, onshore, and offshore workstreams.
  • Align subcontractors and resource plans, unblock dependencies, and resolve escalations across organizational boundaries.

Business and Commercial Leadership

  • Own delivery financials and commercial performance, including contractual commitments, resource plans, milestones, forecasting, margin, commercial risk, and change control.
  • Partner with account teams to identify expansion opportunities and accelerate business value realization.
  • Support strategic account planning and long-term customer success.
  • Ensure programs deliver measurable impact that supports customer objectives and Microsoft's growth priorities.
