About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

SVP, Experience Strategy & Studio - Experience & Design Org

Salesforce is redefining enterprise software for the Agentic Enterprise: a future in which people and agents work together across products, data, channels, and business processes, and the experience assembles around the work rather than forcing customers to navigate the structure of the software.

That future cannot be created one product roadmap at a time.

Many of the most important opportunities cross clouds, products, customer journeys, platforms, channels, and organizational boundaries. They require a clear view of the complete customer outcome, exceptional product judgment, and the ability to make a new model tangible enough that customers can experience it, engineers can interrogate it, and executives can make consequential decisions around it.

The SVP, Experience Strategy + Studio will lead Salesforce’s enterprise capability for doing exactly that.

Reporting to the EVP, Chief Experience Officer, this executive will shape cross-Salesforce experience strategy, identify the opportunities that matter most, and lead multidisciplinary teams in turning the highest-consequence bets into exceptional working experiences.

This is a role for a leader who can define the future at enterprise altitude and still recognize exactly what makes an interaction, product behavior, or complete experience great.

What you will lead:

This leader will bring together two connected capabilities:

  • Experience Strategy. Define the customer and enterprise outcomes Salesforce should pursue, identify opportunities that cross portfolio boundaries, expose the choices and tradeoffs that matter, and shape how products, services, platforms, and operating models must evolve together.
  • Experience Studio. Turn the most consequential strategic choices into complete working experiences that customers can use, Product and Engineering can build from, and Salesforce can use to make better product, platform, architecture, and investment decisions.

Together, Strategy + Studio will help Salesforce move from possibility to conviction—and from conviction to product.

What you will do:

  • Shape Salesforce’s enterprise experience strategy with the Chief Experience Officer, Presidents, and senior Product, Engineering, and business leaders.
  • Identify the customer and business opportunities that require Salesforce to operate across traditional product and organizational boundaries.
  • Translate customer evidence, business strategy, technology, market shifts, and emerging human-agent behaviors into clear product and experience choices.
  • Define new models for how people and agents work together across Salesforce products, Slack, data, workflows, customer experiences, and third-party surfaces.
  • Lead flagship cross-Salesforce experience initiatives from ambiguous opportunity through strategic thesis, working product, customer evidence, and clear path to production.
  • Direct exceptional multidisciplinary work across product design, service design, interaction, content, AI experience, design engineering, prototyping, and creative technology.
  • Build experiences with enough product and technical truth to expose the real questions of state, data, identity, permissions, agent behavior, trust, latency, failure, intervention, and recovery.
  • Use working product and customer evidence to challenge assumptions, sharpen strategy, redirect investment, and stop directions that do not earn continued commitment.
  • Partner deeply with Product and Engineering leaders so the work changes roadmaps and platform decisions rather than ending as concepts or demonstrations.
  • Partner with Research + Experience Intelligence to ground decisions in customer and behavioral truth, and with Experience Architecture to turn proven directions into shared systems that can scale across Salesforce.
  • Establish a market-leading bar for product judgment, craft, coherence, and AI-native experience—and build an exceptional multidisciplinary leadership and practitioner bench.
  • Make Salesforce a destination for the product thinkers, strategists, designers, and builders who want to define the next generation of enterprise experiences.

What success looks like:

Within the first year:

  • A clear enterprise experience point of view is materially shaping cross-portfolio product and investment decisions before roadmaps harden.
  • Flagship working experiences make the next Salesforce tangible to customers, company leaders, Product, and Engineering—and force consequential decisions about what to build.
  • The strongest Strategy + Studio initiatives translate into funded product, platform, and architecture commitments rather than remaining conceptual work.
  • Salesforce establishes distinctive models for human-agent collaboration and cross-product experiences that could not have been created within the boundaries of a single application.
  • Proven experience directions begin to shape shared Salesforce architecture, foundations, platform capabilities, and portfolio roadmaps.
  • Customer and technical evidence visibly changes, strengthens, or stops strategic bets.
  • Portfolio teams absorb successful product theses, methods, patterns, and working proof without becoming dependent on a permanent central innovation organization.
  • Strategy + Studio becomes known internally and externally for consequential product authorship, exceptional craft, working evidence, and the ability to turn ambiguity into shipped reality.

What you bring:

  • Executive experience leading experience, product design, or multidisciplinary creative product organizations across a complex product portfolio, platform, or ecosystem.
  • A career foundation in product, interaction, experience, or service design and a body of exceptional shipped work that demonstrates deep personal product and craft judgment.
  • A record of shaping enterprise or portfolio strategy with Presidents, GMs, Product executives, and Engineering leaders—and changing consequential product or investment decisions.
  • Exceptional systems thinking and the ability to connect product experiences with services, workflows, policy, organizational dynamics, business models, implementation, and customer outcomes.
  • Evidence that you have originated important product theses and carried them from ambiguity through working experience, customer learning, technical commitment, and production.
  • Deep understanding of AI-native products and human-agent collaboration, including context, delegation, authority, trust, intervention, failure, recovery, and adaptive interfaces.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to work directly with senior Engineering leaders on the realities that determine whether an experience can become a product.
  • A high bar for interaction, visual design, content, service design, prototyping, and end-to-end product coherence.
  • The ability to move fluidly between enterprise strategy and detailed critique without losing credibility at either altitude.
  • A record of recruiting and developing extraordinary senior designers, strategists, design engineers, and multidisciplinary product talent.
  • Executive presence and organizational courage: the ability to challenge assumptions, make difficult choices, resolve cross-boundary ambiguity, and stop work when the evidence does not support it.

Your leadership signature

You are both strategist and maker.
You can see across a complex enterprise, identify the few choices that matter, create a clear point of view, and make that future tangible enough to change what the organization does.
You are as credible in a discussion about company strategy and business consequence as you are in a detailed product critique. You raise ambition without becoming abstract, and you use working product—not presentation—to create conviction.

Why this role matters

The next Salesforce will not emerge simply by adding AI to the products that already exist.
It requires a new experience model for how people, agents, data, applications, and work come together—and the ability to prove that model through experiences compelling and credible enough for a global company to build around.
This leader will help define that future, make it real, and change what Salesforce chooses to build.
