Corporate Salesperson

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Corporate Salesperson for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Work with Caribbean and Central America (CCA) Markets Solutions team to design complex derivatives and structured solutions to CCA clients including the Top Target market corporations, major financial institutions and Sovereign Entities as well as State Owned Public Entities. Aid senior salespersons in the Markets CCA Solutions team to originate and execute deals, including pricing solutions, preparing pitches for clients, internal presentations, and risk approval documentation. Act as a first point of contact for Bankers, Markets colleagues in the CCA countries, and other internal partners that reach out to the CCA Solutions team for obtaining price quotes and raising business opportunities. Combine advanced knowledge of CCA markets and clients’ needs with Markets solutions to structure bespoke solutions. Create market updates and trade recommendations for distribution to CCA clients. Design, pitch, approve, execute and book large and complex solutions with CCA clients leveraging knowledge of structured finance solutions, structure investments solutions and derivatives solutions for risk management purposes, including tools for derivatives pricing, stress-testing and counterparty credit risk simulations, among others, as well as knowledge of external applications such as Bloomberg, PowerPoint, and Excel. Assist and prepare credit materials for transactions with CCA clients to go for approvals. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field and 4 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Corporate Banking Associate, Corporate Banking Analyst, Corporate Salesperson, Structurer, Trader or related position involving working on episodic structured solutions in a global bank for clients in LATAM. 4 years of experience must include: Corporate Finance; Credit Risk Analysis; Credit risk management and approval process; Corporate and Bank accounting, derivatives accounting; Corporate valuation and financial modelling; Public sector specific metrics (deficit, indebtedness, debt ceilings, among others); Bloomberg, PowerPoint, Excel; Structured financing and investment solutions; Derivatives solutions for risk management; Financial Engineering; Liability Management; Tools for derivatives pricing, stress-testing and counterparty credit risk simulations; and Relationship management. 10% International Travel required.
