The North America Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team serves as a business partner and provides financial support and strategic insight to a variety of regional and business functions. We play a key role in providing financial planning, month-end reporting, and decision support analytics to business leaders. The team is tasked with developing conceptually sound, rigorous, and detailed understandings of the various elements that impact net revenue, with the goal of optimizing financial performance and delivering against financial goals. The Finance Intern (“FINtern”), will join an FP&A team that is the day-to-day financial ‘eyes and ears’ for roughly half of Visa’s global net revenue.
Some job duties and projects could include:
Support in the maintenance of large and complex datasets of drivers for hundreds of Big Tech and Fintech partners
Collaborate and coordinate cross-functionally with a broad base of stakeholders (i.e. Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Controllership, etc.)
Analyze monthly and quarterly results, identify and interpret key variances, trends, and insights, present key findings to senior leadership and executive management audience
Learn and understand Visa's financial reporting systems, run data queries, develop financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives
Develop a foundational understanding of multi-party economic model (issuers, acquirers, processors, interchange, merchants, cardholders, etc.)
Support in the creation of self-served client-based dashboards for business partners
Assist in financial planning, creating budgets, forecasting and management reporting
All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $35.00/hr to $39.00/hr which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
