We are looking for a senior Banking Practitioner to join the Financial Services leadership team in the Czech Republic, with responsibility spanning client relationship development, business origination, presales and sales activities, and oversight of successful delivery. The role will focus on strengthening Accenture’s position in the Czech banking market, identifying new business opportunities, and building trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders. The successful candidate will combine strong banking industry expertise with commercial acumen, an established professional network, and the ambition to build and grow new business.

Your roles and responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and develop trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders across Czech banks. Understand their strategic priorities, business challenges, and transformation agendas, and position Accenture as a long-term strategic partner.

  • Market and Business Development: Identify areas of market growth and translate banking trends, regulatory developments, and client needs into concrete business opportunities. Contribute to the development and execution of Accenture’s Banking strategy in the Czech Republic.

  • Demand Generation and Sales Origination: Lead demand-generation and origination activities, including executive discussions, client workshops, and industry-specific value propositions. Build and execute account development plans and manage opportunities from initial identification through qualification and pursuit.

  • Presales and Deal Shaping: Mobilize the right industry, consulting, technology, data, and operations capabilities from across Accenture. Shape differentiated solutions, define the client value case, and lead the preparation of compelling proposals and presentations.

  • Delivery and Client Value Oversight: Maintain senior-level oversight of key engagements to ensure alignment with client expectations, delivery quality, business outcomes, and commercial commitments. Support delivery teams in resolving critical issues and identifying opportunities to expand the relationship.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with Client Account Leads, Financial Services leadership, and subject-matter experts across Accenture’s local and international organization. Contribute to building the Czech Banking practice, developing talent, and sharing industry knowledge.

  • Pipeline and Commercial Management: Maintain ownership and transparency of the relevant opportunity pipeline, forecasts, and account development activities. Support commercial negotiations, pricing decisions, business cases, and deal economics.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in banking, financial services consulting, technology, or a comparable client-facing leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of the Czech banking market, including banking business models, operating environments, regulatory priorities, technology trends, and transformation challenges.

  • An established network of relationships and contacts within Czech banks, particularly among senior business, operations, technology, and transformation stakeholders. Knowledge of the Slovak banking market is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior management, understand their strategic priorities, and translate those priorities into actionable opportunities.

  • Demonstrated track record in business development, consulting, sales origination, presales, or account growth, with the ability and motivation to build new business.

  • Experience shaping and delivering complex transformation initiatives combining business consulting, technology, data and AI, digital transformation, and operations.

  • Ability to connect strategic advisory, sales, and delivery perspectives and to maintain senior oversight of client engagements from initial opportunity through implementation and value realization.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including the ability to structure commercial propositions, evaluate deal economics, support negotiations, and develop credible business cases.

  • Excellent Czech and English communication skills, both written and verbal, together with strong presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management capabilities. German is an advantage.

  • Effective leadership, negotiation, influencing, and decision-making skills, combined with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.
