The Data Center Operations Team is looking for a strong leader to serve as Data Center Site Services Manager, providing direct support for data center service uptime and supervising a team of Data Center Technicians.
Description
This role is for a Data Center Site Services Manager responsible for a team that executes the installation, service, repair, support, maintenance, and decommissioning of network, storage, and compute assets in our data center.
Responsibilities
Partner with planning teams on installation forecasts and IT cabinet builds.
Manage and report on space and power consumption.
Interact directly with the local Data Center Facility Manager to ensure environment uptime.
Work cross-functionally with internal business groups to provide best-in-class service, and partner with internal support groups such as the Operations Center and Engineering teams on process improvements and monitoring and issue resolution.
Keep Apple’s services online while continuing to install capacity.
Provide reporting on key performance indicators, define team goals for efficiency, manage assets, and lead a team of data center technicians.
