Software Engineer IIOverviewResponsible for analysing, designing, developing, testing, and delivering secure, scalable software solutions that meet business needs and Mastercard engineering standards. Drives innovation, quality, and operational excellence while collaborating across global teams.
Role
In this position, you will:
• Design and develop high-quality software solutions aligned with Mastercard standards and best practices.
• Own end-to-end SDLC activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production incidents.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technology evaluations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
• Drive quality through code reviews, security reviews, testing, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor team members and promote technical knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience building secure, scalable, and resilient applications; Financial Services experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
