Title and Summary
Senior Specialist, Product OperationsThe Mastercard Cross-Border Services Global Product Operations team is responsible for supporting Mastercard's global money movement solutions, enabling funds to be sent securely to bank accounts, mobile wallets, and cash-out locations around the world. As part of Mastercard Move, the team plays a critical role in ensuring new payment corridors, receiving partners, and product capabilities are successfully launched and operate seamlessly.We are looking for a Senior Specialist to support the successful launch and operation of Cross-Border Services products. This role combines product operations, transaction analysis, testing, and process improvement to ensure a high-quality experience for both internal stakeholders and customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about payments, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and professional with excellent communication skills.
This position offers the opportunity to work with global product, technology, operations, and support teams while contributing to the continued growth and evolution of Mastercard's cross-border money movement business
Role:
• Overall goal is to ensure a high-quality experience for both external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing activities for new product features, partner integrations, and payment corridors.
• Support the launch of new receiving providers, payment corridors, and money movement capabilities across global markets.
• Manage test account sourcing and validation processes with internal stakeholders and third-party testing providers.
• Support product teams in validating new functionality prior to production deployment.
• Analyze transaction flows, payment data, and API payload information to investigate issues and support testing activities.
• Conduct transaction research and troubleshoot processing exceptions to help ensure successful testing outcomes.
• Maintain testing documentation, procedures, and operational playbooks to ensure consistent execution.
• Support incident tracking, analysis, and reporting processes across Cross-Border Services.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Operations, and regional teams to support product delivery and operational readiness.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and drive operational efficiencies across the testing lifecycle.
All About You:
• Experience in payments, banking, fintech, financial services, transaction processing, or other transaction-driven environments.
• Understanding of transaction flows, payment lifecycles, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience in testing, troubleshooting, product operations, or operational support for technology or financial products.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and work with transaction data.
• Experience using Excel, API payloads, transaction research tools, or similar solutions to analyze and validate data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English required to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
• Organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to challenge existing processes and find more efficient ways of working.
• Combines logical problem-solving with creativity when navigating complex operational challenges.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and be present in the office 3 times per week.
