Location/Division Specific Information

This position is part of our Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD). MSD supplies innovative solutions for microscopy and microanalysis. Using scanning and transmission electron microscopes and DualBeamTM FIB-SEMs, combined with sophisticated software suites, our customers can combine high-resolution imaging with physical, elemental, chemical, and electrical analysis to go from questions to usable data. Our solutions enable customers to push the boundaries of productivity and innovation. Materials and Structural Analysis impact everyday life -- medicines and vaccines, transportation, clean energy, devices, food, bridges, technology, and more. Discover Impactful Work:

This Head of ISC Process Excellence and Transformation leads the setup, harmonization, and transformation of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) processes across MSDs. It drives process excellence, master data governance, and the rollout of advanced planning and analytics tools.

The position owns the end-to-end ISC process design and digital strategy, ensuring adoption across factories, business units, and suppliers. You will manage a global expert team focused on standardization, simplification, and digitization to deliver measurable value through strong data, smooth user experience, and operational excellence. Key outcomes include improved customer service, cash flow, productivity, and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Global ISC Process Excellence

  • Standardize and improve core ISC processes across sites.
  • Define guidelines, global standards, and performance metrics.
  • Align ISC processes with business strategy and ensure agility across regions.

2. Master Data and Application Governance

  • Lead data governance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
  • Manage ownership and lifecycle of key ISC data.
  • Oversee ISC digital tools, ensuring alignment with standards and easy adoption.

3. Performance Management and Reporting

  • Define and manage ISC benchmarks, reporting, and analytics.
  • Use data insights to guide strategic decisions and manage risks.
  • Work with Finance, IT, and other teams to align operational and financial data.

4. Leadership and Capability Development

  • Build and lead a global ISC process, data, and applications team.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and performance.
  • Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decisions.

5. Digital Strategy and Planning Systems

  • Lead deployment of advanced planning systems for ISC transformation.
  • Define ERP integrations and data needs for visibility and execution.
  • Partner with IT and Business Units to deliver a unified digital roadmap.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field preferred.

Experience

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in global Integrated Supply Chain roles, ideally in high-mix, low-volume environments.
  • Proven track record in process standardization, data governance, and performance improvement with using emerging digital methodologies.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation and digital system implementation (e.g., advanced planning, AI/ML, predictive analytics).
  • Strong change leader who fosters continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Several years of leadership experience with a focus on developing team capabilities.
  • Certified in Lean, Six Sigma, deep knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to align and inspire cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Willingness to travel up to 25%, including internationally
