Job Description

  • About the role
    As a Launch Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate the end-to-end supply chain activities required to successfully launch new products across Takeda's global network. You will bring together cross-functional stakeholders to ensure launches are delivered on time, with high quality and in alignment with business objectives. Working at the intersection of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Commercial Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring patients receive innovative therapies without interruption.
     
    How you will contribute
     
  • Lead end-to-end supply launch activities for products managed by the PDT Supply Chain organization.
  • Establish and coordinate cross-functional Supply Launch Teams (SLTs), ensuring alignment across regional and global stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage launch timelines, milestones and critical path activities to achieve successful market launches.
  • Monitor launch readiness, proactively identify risks and drive mitigation plans to ensure flawless execution.
  • Manage launch tracking within Birdview, maintain accurate project data and prepare monthly KPI reporting.
  • Coordinate Veeva/TrackWise change controls and ensure effective governance throughout the launch process.
  • Drive communication and reporting to Product Teams, Supply Chain leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve launch management processes, reporting tools and best practices across the global organization.

    What you bring to Takeda
     
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences or another relevant discipline.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional projects within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or another regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain, commercial operations and product launch processes.
  • Proven project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with project management systems, KPI reporting and supply chain data management tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across global matrix organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across functions, regions and organizational levels.
