Frequently asked questions

Do I need work authorization to participate?
Most KATCHUP campaigns are independent contractor / promotional activities, not W-2 employment, so they generally don't require US work authorization. Specific campaigns may have their own rules — always check the campaign listing.
How fast do I get paid?
Reward payouts are processed automatically once your deliverable is approved by the brand. Most students see Zelle or PayPal payments land within 3–7 business days of approval.
Can I participate at any university?
Yes — KATCHUP is open to Korean students studying at any 4-year university in the US. Some campaigns scope to specific schools, but most accept students nationwide.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No fixed hours. Each campaign lists its own scope and timeline — you choose which ones to apply to. Most students do 1–3 campaigns per semester alongside classes.
What happens if my application isn't accepted?
You'll be notified, and the application is closed without penalty. We encourage students to apply to multiple campaigns since each one is selected independently.
