The Strategic Supply Chain Sourcing Manager for Commerce Media is a senior member of Enterprise Sourcing / Procurement team, dedicated to supporting the emerging Citi Commerce business.   In this role, you will align sourcing strategies Citi’s Commerce Media’s financial outlook, audience positioning strategy, and pricing frameworks. Reporting to the Head of USCC Sourcing, you will own the end-to-end strategy, commercial negotiations and drive contract execution. By managing key supplier relationships and partnering closely with the analytics and business teams, you will help accelerate growth while balancing commercial objectives with robust operational controls and risk management.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sourcing strategies that align with business and organizational goals, execute against these strategies, develop sourcing plans with business stakeholders
  • Develop internal business partner relationships, key/strategic supplier relationships, and key stakeholder relationships as well as negotiate market leading contract and commercial terms for new product acquisitions, develop sourcing strategies, and develop project delivery and execution for Commerce Media
  • Manage and maintain contract and commercial terms with retailers and achieve market commercial terms to drive revenue
  • Serve as a sourcing and end-to-end supply chain Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Commerce Media, delivering deep market insights to influence supplier selection and category strategy. In close partnership with Legal and the business, lead the negotiation and contracting process for standard term and conditions and insertion orders for advertisers and strategic relationships
  • Developing scalable sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and governance processes that can support the continued growth of the Commerce Media business
  • Streamlining onboarding for advertisers, agencies, technology platforms, data providers, measurement partners, and other third parties that support the business
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing in advertising, media, or adtech
  • Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferred
  • Deep Contracting experience, expert in commercial terms required to support Commerce Media
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, and Procurement
  • Contract and Vendor Management Experience
  • Advanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Demonstrated success in achieving savings goals and other performance metrics
  • Demonstrated relationship management, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Executive presence and excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and represent procurement strategies with confidence

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
