Job Description
The Senior Manager, Web Development Delivery leads the successful delivery of web and digital development initiatives across the enterprise. This role is responsible for managing development teams and delivery partners, ensuring high-quality execution of approved business requirements, and delivering secure, scalable, and compliant digital solutions.
This position is located in Foster City, CA and is an office based, hybrid position requiring to work 3 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of web development projects, enhancements, and digital capabilities.
- Manage and develop web engineers, technical leads, QA resources, and vendor teams.
- Partner with Business Engagement teams to plan, estimate, and execute approved initiatives.
- Drive Agile delivery, release planning, resource management, and execution excellence.
- Partner with business, agency partners, UX, content, and product teams to prioritize and deliver digital capabilities.
- Ensure websites meet performance, security, accessibility, and compliance standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and delivery performance.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with Eight Years' experience
OR
Master's degree with Six Years' experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8-10+ years of experience in web development, digital platforms, or application delivery.
- 5+ years leading technical teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience delivering enterprise websites, CMS platforms, and digital experiences.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, cloud technologies, APIs, DevOps, and modern web architectures.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and drive successful project outcomes.
- Building/ managing delivery with Sitecore CMS
- Knowledge of modern web architectures, headless CMS, APIs, cloud-native development, and composable digital experience platforms.
- Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG), SEO, analytics, consent management, and privacy compliance requirements.
- Experience managing offshore, nearshore, and managed service delivery models.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences.
