Description

Our Corporate FP&A team has an opening for a Financial Analyst supporting the Spend team. This highly visible role works closely with Finance functions across Apple and offers a unique opportunity to gain visibility into and help drive Apple’s total-company Spend. The team manages the corporate monthly Spend, Headcount, and CapEx forecast processes, including quarter-end reporting and the Annual Plan. In this role you’ll analyze financial performance and present business drivers to senior leadership, partner with cross-functional Finance teams throughout Apple, and drive continuous improvement in process, reporting, and data analytics, including leveraging emerging AI technologies to enable more efficient consolidation and more insightful reporting. The role requires solid business acumen, strong analytical skill, exceptional interpersonal skills, and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Support and help drive the corporate monthly Spend, Headcount, and CapEx forecast processes, quarter-end reporting, and Annual Plan.
• Analyze financial performance, break down variances into key drivers, and present business drivers to senior leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional Finance teams across Apple to consolidate and validate forecast inputs, prepare executive-ready reporting and commentary, and ensure accuracy across deliverables.
• Identify and apply opportunities to use emerging AI tools to reduce manual work and enable more efficient consolidation and more insightful reporting.
• Drive ad hoc financial analysis and projects in support of business and leadership goals.


Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

FP&A experience.
Exceptionally organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear narratives.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Excel and Tableau (highly preferred), with the ability to manage both detailed and complex data.
Proficient in emerging AI technologies, with a demonstrated ability to apply them to drive process improvement.
Experience with forecasting, variance analysis, and month/quarter-end close processes.
Experience with Adaptive Planning.
Able to work effectively in ambiguous situations and adapt to evolving priorities.
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to build constructive partnerships across all levels of the organization.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and attention to detail is essential.
Self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement, with a passion for automation.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $211,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
