Original posting provided by amazon
IQ Finance supports the NA Quality team in its mission of managing inventory controllership and reducing defects to improve the experiences of our customers. The team accomplishes this by owning the financial planning cycles, monitoring critical metrics and controls, and leveraging trust to influence areas with the largest impact. The ability to learn and be curious while working through a high degree of complex ambiguity in order to think big while inventing and simplifying for process improvement is critical.
Key job responsibilities
• End-to-end ownership of financial planning cycles (OP1/2 and quarterly guidance) for NACF Quality; deliver MBR/QBR commentary with variance analysis (actuals vs. plan) to drive accountability
• Own critical business reporting for quality spend and performance, including executive-ready dashboards and cost trend analysis to support leadership decision-making
• Earn trust and partner with key stakeholders across NA Quality, AFT Finance, and NACF Central Finance to influence cost optimization decisions and align on strategic priorities
• Drive efficiency in financial processes by automating standard work, reducing cycle times, and improving forecast accuracy
• Deliver scalable financial models and tooling to identify cost reduction opportunities and quantify their impact across the network
• Leverage internal systems (QuickSight, PowerBI, SQL, CAMP) to deep dive financial and productivity results, translating insights into actionable recommendations for leadership
• Lead financial controllership mechanisms for network ICQA spend, including variance analysis, monthly close reviews, and SOX compliance monitoring
A day in the life
This role supports the NA Quality team and will have responsibility planning for budget cycles (OP/Quarterly Guidance), cost controllership around network ICQA spend, inventory controls/SOX compliance, and ad hoc support to the NA Quality team. You partner with stakeholders and deliver data-driven insight to affect change and improve cost efficiency for our internal and external customers across the global inventory platform as well.
