Prime Video Ads is at the center of monetizing the Prime Video experience—delivering billions of ad impressions across Live Sports, VOD, Channels, and Ad Tier. We are seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to lead feature development programs for the Channels team. You will drive ad monetization programs, cross-PVA platform features, and end-to-end delivery with external channel partners—coordinating across PVA engineering teams (Supply, Delivery, Signals, Ad Insertion) and partnering with organizations across Prime Video and Amazon Ads.
The ideal candidate brings structure to ambiguity, thrives in cross-org coordination, and has a bias for action. You are comfortable in technical architecture discussions, challenging trade-offs, and balancing business needs versus technical constraints. Sound judgment, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence are essential.

Key job responsibilities
• Own end-to-end Channels ad monetization programs—from requirements through launch and iteration
• Lead cross-team coordination across PVA engineering teams to align roadmaps, resolve dependencies, and deliver on time
• Be the technical liaison between channel publishers and internal product/engineering teams
• Champion new features; identify product opportunities and influence stakeholders toward durable solutions
• Drive technical design reviews ensuring scalability, reliability, and latency requirements are met
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risks proactively, and provide clear escalation paths
• Communicate roadmaps, trade-offs, and status clearly to cross-functional teams and senior leadership

A day in the life
• You will plan and execute high-profile launches—new channel partner integrations, ad format rollouts, and marketplace expansions
• You will lead cross-org working sessions with Amazon Ads, Prime Video, and partner teams on technical specs and delivery timelines
• You will gain exposure to OTT streaming protocols (DASH, HLS), SSAI, and advertising specs for delivery and measurement
• You will manage multiple concurrent programs at different stages—early design, mid-execution, and post-launch optimization
• Your success requires strong technical skills coupled with ownership, collaboration, and empathy

About the team
The Channels team within PVA owns ad monetization for Prime Video's add-on subscription channels—building and operating systems for ad decisioning, insertion, and measurement across multiple international marketplaces. What makes this uniquely challenging is that no two partners are the same. Each brings bespoke technical requirements, proprietary ad stacks, and varying levels of ad tech maturity. Our quest is to find common patterns and build scalable, unified solutions that work for all partners while accommodating their individual needs. Strong program management bridges the gap between partner complexity and platform simplicity.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
