Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, facilitating communication and collaboration across teams to drive progress and resolve challenges efficiently. The position demands a proactive approach to managing tasks and delivering high-quality solutions within established timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project standards.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals and deliverables.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Strong knowledge of data integration and transformation techniques.
- Experience in designing and optimizing data workflows and pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data processing issues.
- Familiarity with database management and query optimization.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
