Summary:
Seeking an experienced SAP Tax Consultant to support APAC country rollouts and SAP implementation projects. The role will focus on Direct and Indirect Tax processes, requirements gathering, solution design, SAP configuration, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. Strong experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), statutory reporting, and digital tax compliance solutions is required. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of APAC tax regulations, including GST, VAT, withholding tax, and complex country-specific taxation requirements across the APAC region.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze Direct and Indirect Tax requirements for APAC country rollouts.
- Design and support SAP tax solutions, configuration, and cross-module integrations.
- Drive DRC-related implementations, including statutory reporting, SAF-T, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Analyze and address complex APAC tax requirements, including GST, VAT, withholding tax, and country-specific tax regulations.
- Prepare and review RICEFW functional specifications and support enhancements.
- Execute and support Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and testing validation activities.
- Collaborate with business, tax, finance, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities, including issue resolution and stabilization.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in SAP Tax implementations, including Direct and Indirect Tax.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), statutory reporting, SAF-T, and digital tax compliance solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of APAC tax regulations, including GST, VAT, withholding tax, and complex country-specific taxation requirements.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations and APAC country rollouts.
- Knowledge of SAP FI integration and tax-related business processes.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and RICEFW developments.
- Proven experience in UT, SIT, UAT, testing validation, defect management, and hypercare support.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification
- SAP DRC implementation experience
- CA/CMA/MBA Finance preferred
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
